now that our kitchen is completed it is time to move on to new projects!!! we made major efforts in beautifying our backyard last year, but we know we can do better. the above five pictures are some of my favorite pins in my "outdoor" file. this summer we hope to build a new fence, do something with our deteriorating shed, add more outdoor seating, add pea gravel in certain spots, and create a play space for junie. overall i'd like the space to have a relaxed modern, yet bohemian vintage-y vibe!!

i've been thinking about doing a banner similar to this for awhile, then i saw this gem on pinzterest yesterday, i love the colors she used. i am going to put this in my ideas folder to make at a later date...

feeling over-inspired lately, too much i want to make and do. i need to subtract i think. wish i was here, at upper conconully lake relaxing on a boat.

the past couple of weeks have been an eye opener on life, love the ones you got - life really is short.

i also stumbled upon this blog called twwly.com and just sentence in one of her posts really caught my eye and i can't stop thinking about it.  "I need to continue to chase after personal happiness, and not worry about those who are on a different bend."
