i let junie paint over her apple canvas, it had been sitting in a corner hiding for the past year so why not. i would give her one color at a time, let her go for it, let it dry and repeat. since this pic we have added blue and little black. its a fun semi-controlled mess!!

for junie's birthday we are starting the tradition of getting her a piece of art. she got carl when she was born, apple papple last year and this year, hmmmm. i love these watercolors by dimdi, but i can't decide which animal. i love the bunny and there is a cat that looks like her favorite neighborhood cat sammy......they are all sooooo cute!! check out her shop on etsy.

we spotted these paintings at one of our favorite antique stores and fell in love with the top one because it looks like junie. we didn't buy it, we didn't even look at the price tag. so we went home and couldn't stop thinking about it. we decided if it was under a certain price and we still like it we would buy it on sunday...well only sold as a pair and they are $500 BOO..... i'm so sad, in all of its ridiculousness i really really love it.
