sol and i had the day off together... we got lots done. went to the farmers market, to the vet, to the nursery. and then he had to work so i hung out at barnes and then started making re-useable lunch bags, i still have to do the handles.

front porch...

we planted our front herb garden, sadly the cilantro has already died. i guess it can't take the 100 degree weather. i thought i was ready for summer, but it tooooooo hot for me.

new desk...

here is an update on the free desk, we sprayed it white. tomorrow i will update what she looks like all dressed up.

sunny...

today i made these placemats from an old fabric remnant from my job.

and look its actually sunny today.

rainy disposition...

on sunday i finished reading my fourth book this year... memoirs of a geisha. so good i didn't want it to ever end. so yesterday while it rained all day i rented the movie, it was good, but of course the book was a zillion times better.

and i drank about 3 gallons of coffee.

dress up kit for kinz...

this year for christmas i'm making a dress up kit for kinzie, here is skirt number 1. it's a "hot" purple satin number that is very full- a mixture of ballerina and princess. 

new office furniture...

my buddy over at sears let me take this desk and file cabinet...they were going to throw it away. we are planning on painting both of them once i get them home somehow.

i love making lists...i think my mother handed this down to me because my sister loves to make the lists too.
