our christmas was a blast, junie was so excited about everything!! our friend newman came down again this year and we made some more memories at our favorite santa house. she received a bunch of fun gifts and every time she opened one she said "ahhhh, sweet!!!!"

marketplace 2012

i participated in The Kilgoris Project Marketplace again this year and it was a success!! i sold a decent amount of my handmade goods, but more importantly i was able to help out with a great cause. i sold crowns for $15 with all of money going to Kilgoris, did you know that $15 will provide a student with a nutritious meal a day for an entire school year?? so crazy to me that so little can give so much. the whole event was a positive start to this holiday season!!! remember to shop local and shop handmade!!!!

traditions...

the tradition for my family growing up was to drive up to my grandma and grandpa's house for christmas eve. it always felt like the longest drive, it was only 7 miles. funny thing is my husbands family had the same tradition and our grandparents lived right down the road from each other. this pic reminds me so much of that drive...

i started printing out my christmas cards, i found the cards at michael's they were super cheap. i designed this stencil today. i like the pattern in multiples...i think i'm going to go all the way across the card with pattern...we'll see, i can't believe thanksgiving is next week!!

this year for christmas i'm making a dress up kit for kinzie, here is skirt number 1. it's a "hot" purple satin number that is very full- a mixture of ballerina and princess.
