so i like to create challenges for myself, i need something to keep the creative juices flowing!!!
i've been so inspired by some lovely ladies doing some amazing patchwork and i want to practice my patience at quilting. my grandma was the best quilter and i aspire to be as good as her, so i thought i'd practice with mini quilts!!!
i would like to keep the size under 12" square and each month will be designed off of one word completely open in interpretation, those are my only rules.
jan. black & white
feb. red
mar. bows
april rain
may floral
june circle
july yellow
aug. houses
sept. line
oct. blue
nov. triangles
dec. trees
with these mini-quilts you can make:
coasters
mug rugs
pot holders
wall hangings
doll beds pillow
save up for a large quilt
