meet our new cactus...sunday!!! our lovely neighbors across the street gave us one of their giant cacti after i was gushing about how much i loved them. i think this is one of nicest gifts i have ever received! i am so in love with it, especially because of its story. the original cactus was owned by my neighbors grandmother in denver, co when she passed away it was given to my neighbor and they named that one sundance. well over the years they have cut the tops off and started many new cactus'. she said a lot of her extended family has some all over virginia and they have six in their backyard. we named ours sunday because we got her on a sunday and it was one of those really good sundays...one to remember.
