robyn's lil house...

 i spent 2 weeks in oregon helping my sister and her boyfriend make there lil house a home. we had so much fun with the attic bedroom. hope you enjoy the before and afters.

yesterday we celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary in style by going out to our favorite cheeseburger spot (i lived on these while i was pregnant) for lunch and party pizzas for dinner. it's a party around here!!! anyway to commemorate i made a heart garland out of some of my favorite vintage fabric. this same fabric was also used for the curtains in our room and some curtains in our kitchen... i can't get enough of it. all of the art is either wedding gifts, past anniversary gifts, and some of us makin out of course. the yellow heart is from an old map of okanogan county (where we grew up) with small yellow hearts printed on it.

i love this bedroom...everything about it. i'm trying to finish some projects so i can put some black and white on some needles and make a blanket like that...

no, i'm not having a baby...but i have a couple of friends that are having one or just had one. so i have a folder of some of my favorite baby/kids rooms... i think this is from an austrailian magizine. i love the aboriginal art above the crib with the contemporary mobile...
